This demo illustrates how simple it is
to secure a desktop application against
unlicensed use with Zarqon.
We define several features, grouped into feature sets, and issue a license for a feature set, illustrating the Gift Basket approach to licensing.
In a desktop application, you are concerned controlling functionality presented to a particular user.
The validation of that user’s license entails fetching it by the license key, and then decrypting it.
Your Zarqon license key is required (to find your S3 license bucket), the license holder’s key (to find their license), and finally their name and email address (combined with their key to decrypt the license).

This demo shows how you can easily
control which sites your web application
will operate from using Zarqon.
We define several features and issue a license for some of them. This is illustrates the Ala-Carte approach to licensing.
In a web application, you are concerned with controlling which sites can run the application and what functionality is available to the site owner to present to his or her users.
The validation of a site license entails fetching it by the license key, and then decrypting it.
Your Zarqon license key is required (to find your S3 license bucket), and the license holder’s key (to find their site license).
The site is automatically detected by the API and combined with their license key to decrypt the license.
