Reeperbahn Basic Reason Dance Rack

Imagine if every time you entered a recording studio, you had to wire everything up before you could play.
Reeperbahn is a basic dance rack for Propellerhead Reason 4.01 with pre-wired mixer, effects, mastering and independently compressed kick and bass.
Dance music is driven by the kick and bass, and those two voices must be interleaved and compressed for maximum impact. So these are always the first voices to address when you begin building a track. However, your overall track needs mastering and your mixer should have a full suite of send effects at the ready.
Creating and wiring all this up every time is a pain and a barrier to creativity. If you're like me, you want to open up Reason and start bringing the funk immediately. But you don't want to end up with a crazy rack that will be completely different for every track. So you need a default rack that has what you need to let you dial in your kick and bass, build some patterns quickly and then move on to the fun parts.
So download Reeperbahn, set it as your default rack in Reason. You'll no doubt want to tune it a bit to your tastes and favorite bpm. Maybe you use the Thor for bass more often than the Subtractor. Maybe you use a Dr Rex for your beats more often than Redrum.
Reeperbahn has the minimum setup you need to get going with a dance track and keep things tight, and is as light on the cpu as possible. If you've got cycles to spare, you'll probably want to expand on this basic rack. For instance, you might fatten the bass by adding a Spider and sending the Matrix pattern to both the Subtractor and a Thor.
The possibilities in a Reason rack are endless. Reeperbahn is just a grain of sanity at the center of the pearl that your rack (and track) will become!

Audio Feedback
"The Border is ridiculously good man - some full throttle business and a classic sample too.
Amazing work all round... dope musicianship, sequencing and production skills. Such detail too. Proper music."
