Web Development

We offer remote, corp-to-corp consulting with a focus on the development of HTML5 Single Page Apps employing a mobile-first design.

Our favorite front-end frameworks are React, Redux, Node, Bootstrap, and Material Design. We also have up to the minute skills in Solidity, the language of smart contracts on Ethereum blockchain.

We use Git, Heroku, Firebase / NoSQL, Google Cloud, and Amazon AWS.

Flex to HTML 5 Migration

Still have millions invested in massive Adobe Flex applications? Yeah, we feel you.

Once the most robust technology for developing browser-based applications, today, Flex is effectively dead on the vine.

Your options are: Migrate to another proprietary technology, where your investment could again be put at risk by someone else’s mismanagement, or go with a standards-based HTML5 solution. With the latter, we can help.

How Work / Life Balance Affects Our Rate

Happy, balanced developers write better software than harried, jet-lagged ones.

From our home office, nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee, we have everything required for a developer to be connected and productive, a ten-second commute time, and zero stress. In our experience, almost all of the development work we do can be done from here.

Consequently, clients who do not require the developer/architect to be on site are rewarded with a significant (20%) reduction in our rate. Also, there are usually no expenses involved in remote work, which is another major savings for the client that can go into things like more development time.

Clients who require the developer/architect to work on-site pay our full rate, and must additionally cover expenses associated with the engagement, including but not limited to: airfare, trains, cabs, car rentals, parking, fuel, tolls, meals, and laundry.
